— Accelerating growth in electrolytes, CNT and upstream raw material localization

Luxembourg — June 1, 2026 — Green Energy Origin (GEO) today announced the completion of its acquisition of electrolyte manufacturing assets from Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, and Billingham, UK. Effective today, both facilities and their employees have been integrated into GEO’s global manufacturing network.

The Memphis supports GEO’s ability to serve battery and electric vehicle customers in the U.S. Midwest and shortens the timeline for localized manufacturing and service deployment in North America. The Billingham facility, the only large-scale electrolyte production base in the UK, strengthens GEO’s localized manufacturing footprint in Western Europe.

Together with GEO’s 200,000-ton-per-year facility in the Czech Republic, these sites extend GEO’s manufacturing network across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific and strengthen its ability to support customers across regions.

Tony Ma, CEO of Green Energy Origin (GEO), said:
“Completion of this transaction expands GEO’s manufacturing footprint and strengthens our regional supply capabilities. We welcome our new colleagues in Memphis and Billingham and look forward to working together as part of GEO’s global operations.”

Following completion of the transaction, the Memphis and Billingham facilities have commenced full-scale operations. The sites support existing customer supply while contributing to future market growth through their available production capacity.

GEO is also expanding its global R&D network across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific to support materials development, process engineering, and technology transfer across its business platforms.
